Now with a niche targeted for you to pursue it is valuable for you to do some prospect research to identify the ideal buyers in this market. Most search engines will be useful to you in this process, such as Google Analytics or Facebook where there are ways to research for people interested in your niche(s). You can find things out about the average ages, sex, income statistics, location and many other things using these tools in these vast social network databases.
With a specific niche or niches and with knowledge of the demographics and some statistics of people who would be interested in what you have to sell, your next task is to plan how to attract them to your online store. Of course your budget now comes into focus. Will you use paid advertising methods, such as PayPerClick or Banner Ads on sites such as Google, Facebook, Yahoo and others? Or will you want to learn how to use free advertising methods, such as article marketing and video marketing and email marketing?
Whether you use paid or free or a combination of both methods of advertising it is critical that you set up your landing/capture page and provide a clear link in your ad, article or video where the prospect can readily click through. This landing/capture page is where you must make it simple and easy for the prospect to follow your call to action for them to enter their contact information so that you can respond to them and so that you can add them to your all important "list". It is this list that will grow over time and that will provide a nest of current and future sales opportunities with people who have expressed interest in the products and/or services in your online store.
When starting to create your own Internet Marketing Business it is important that you understand that your landing/capture page is simply a website with its own URL address. You will need to create a relevant name and purchase a domain for it from a web host, such as GoDaddy or HostGator or others. Then you can create your graphics on your web page using tools such as WordPress or Komposer or one of many other web building software tools that are available. Once you create and publish your site, you can then hyperlink your advertisements, articles and videos so that the responding prospect simply clicks through to get to this website where they log in their information and where you make it simple for them to buy the products and/or services that you sell on your online store.
