The Objective of Internet Marketing
The real purpose of internet marketing as we had discussed earlier in one of my ezine articles, is to identify our potential customers, learning about their taste and buying habits, their psyche in choosing their products etc. before actually making an offer.
One needs to learning as much about buying preference of different segments of a potential market i.e. identify the real motive in buying a certain brand of product by a certain class of people and then offering a product or a service that they had been yearning for subconsciously. Feeding a hungry potential group of customers who are waiting on the sidelines to devour immediately is what we really want. Of course, the products and services must be priced correctly to suit the pocket and which is packed with benefits that is exactly custom made to satisfy them mentally and physically.
Thereafter, once all these details had been collected from our market research using tools such as the Google search engine keyword tool and Google trends, we can then proceed to find what strategies would best suit our time, money and effort that would deliver more than we can choose for.
Market Strategy Followed by Different Internet Market Gurus
Now if you comb the internet you will come across all kinds of self styled market gurus each vying about a particular preference that they may have to target their group to offer their products and services.
However as we all know that no single strategy can ever win every war nor a particular combination of medicines can be a universal panacea to all ailments. Much on similar analogy, there is no single full proof internet marketing strategy that will give the best result all the time.
Preference of Potential Target Group to Search for Products and Services of Their Choice
Each target group has to be carefully studied to understand their preference i.e. do they wish to be contacted personally across social network groups such as Facebook, twitter or blogs or do they want to frequent certain niche forums dealing with the particular kind of product and discuss with the experts about the same, or do they want to be bombarded with emails that keep offering all kinds of products until they finally make up their mind (usually in the seventh attempt an email marketing is successful in making a sale) and so on.
There are of course most people who only prefers to look up for a product or a service using certain combination of keywords in the search engine, such as the Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. to narrow down upon the exact product that they might have been looking for. Better still there are auction sites such as the eBay, where they look for a product that they might not find elsewhere and that too for a bargain.
No wonder internet marketing is not all that easy. It requires lot of study and then applying the right set of methods to take the right decision to make the kill i.e. to make maximum revenue using the minimum amount of effort and optimal expenses not just cash but time and effort too.
Coaching and Mentor Required to Learn Internet Marketing
Now this cannot be learnt all by himself or herself. Just like in any field of excellence you need guidance and a mentor, the same is applicable here too. So it is best to get proper coaching from those who are already established. After you have learnt all that is needed to become successful on the internet one must proceed, instead of beating about the bush.
Domain Flipping an Excellent Product for Internet Marketing
There is one suggestion that I may however make if you may permit me. If you are dead serious about earning enough to fulfill all your dreams then begin your internet marketing with domain flipping. It's actually a secret that most market gurus will never discuss with you in the open.
Domain names are the real estate in the internet world. You buy a domain name that has perhaps expired, but has excellent link backs, then tweak them to perfection, much like you might do with an old car or a house, then sell them at a premium.
Mostly likely it will fetch you not less than thousand times the investment made for less than $10 a domain name. Of course there are equally excellent products each having its own niche and a potential market of hungry customers ready to sell out as hot cakes. But remember no single strategy will work for all products. For that you need to study deep before you decide which one would be truly suitable.
