If you have heard about the movie "Karate Kid", you will probably know the story of the young kid Daniel who wanted to learn Karate from his family handyman, the elderly Mr. Miyagi. Daniel didn't understand why he had to do so many things that, what he thought was not related to Karate at all.
For weeks Daniel had to wax cars and paint fences using certain ways or systems that Mr. Miyagi taught him. Not a single real karate lesson was done. Why?
Do you really want to learn internet marketing?
For Daniel to learn karate, he had to train his brain to follow certain ways of working and learning not to give up. Mr. Miyagi knew if Daniel could follow his instructions without questioning and without giving up, he would be able to learn and be successful in karate.
The same rules apply when you try to learn internet marketing. If you try to skip the basics and jump straight into the big money game, you will simply not make it. You will be knocked down again and again until you finally give up or take the time to learn what it takes.
This important step between learning the basics and being able to play the big game is exactly what all unserious internet marketers are taking advantage of. They simply know that you want to earn money quickly, skipping all the basic learning, starting to make millions next week or next month. All that happens is that you lose your money and end up being more frustrated than before.
Again, if you don't have the basic training, knowledge and mindset for internet marketing you will not succeed. This is the point where 95% of all internet marketers never get passed.
The light at the end of the tunnel
I was struggling for years trying to get things working online with very mediocre results. I would probably have been a millionaire in any other work considering the hours I put in.
It was not until I took a mentor and coach who again took me step by step through the basic process leading up to a point were I was ready for the first fight. First I thought, I know all this already and why should I spend time with it again. This was the same lesson as Daniel had with Mr. Miyagi.

Suddenly the light was turned on and I could see that I must use my basic knowledge in a totally different way, that I didn't even know was possible.
