In today's article I really want to stress how important it is to properly engage your audience, or web viewers. Email is so much a part of our everyday lives that clicking on a link is pretty much second nature, for most email newsletter subscribers. E-mail filters, and spam filters are becoming an increasing challenge, which is why short and sweet works perfectly on the text portion of most business related emails.

But let's stop there and consider why email marketing with web video can be a better alternative than simply text, or HTML newsletters.
  1. Less words mean less potential to end up in the spam or junk folder.
  2. You e-mail subscribers feel more of a bond with you.
  3. You connect with and engage your viewers two times per email (text + video).
  4. Video, when used properly, can get your main points across more effectively.
  5. Differentiation, in a nutshell, you stand out because you're providing something different.
  6. Increased sales opportunity, by simply adding links and other elements to your web pages.
  7. Video is becoming the absolute preferred method to get your sales message out online.


By now I'm sure you get the idea. If you're like most business owners, there's simply not enough time in the day for you to do it all on your own. At the same time, you realize that you have to move forward or get left behind. You know that during the next three years video is going to help position key businesses and their products and services within the local market. The keyword is local marketing, because the enterprising business owner that is deadly serious about positioning their business online, is the one that will grab the lion's share of profits in their respective market. There are businesses that are going to double and triple their business due to smart online marketing with web video. And you know what? E-mail marketing with web video is one way to get started fast, and see results in almost immediately.

  5. Pre-load your message system with at least 10 solid messages to your subscribers.
  6. Don't wait, get started immediately.
