Four Steps in Becoming a Successful Internet Marketer
By: Julianne Rowat
With so many internet marketing businesses out there and with so many people in your face telling you theirs is the best, how do you know which one to choose? Maybe you want to build your own internet business? How do you become successful in your business when there are billions of people already on the internet?
I have come up with four steps that will help you along the way of your challenges and adventures of internet marketing.
Step One: Have a Product People Want!
There are millions of products out there, some good some not, you have to find the one people want the most. If you cannot find a product you want to indorse, and then build your own. It is actually easier than you think. Everyone has some kind of talent, utilize that and think of a product that would benefit others. Think of what your customers might want and develop a high end product to increase your chances of success.
Step Two: Develop some good advertising strategies.
Setting up how you want to advertise is key. How much do you have in your budget to advertise? If you have $0, there are many freeways. There are social media sites, like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and MySpace. There is free online classifieds, press releases, articles, web 2.0 properties and my favorite Youtube. You can get tons of views on your videos with good content and all you have to do is have a good bio with your website for them to go check out. If you have money in your budget to advertise with, then you can use pay per click. Google, Yahoo, Bing and now even Facebook has pay per click advertising.
Step Three: Have a Killer Website.
This is crucial in getting your prospects to opt-in. You do not want a blog designer to build your website for you, although they build great blogs, most of them are not marketers. You need to have a marketing website. A simple capture page that catches their attention, that is full of curiosity and pulls them in.
Step Four: Have a Community or Team That Stands Behind You
It is really hard to go it alone now days. Maybe you think your product is the best ever made, or your website is the greatest one out there. Having a community or a team to bounce ideas off of will boost you in your success. They will keep you up when you are having down days. And a good team will tell you honestly, that is just not going to work.
I was lucky in finding a product that I am happy to endorse. A high end product that will help people in this financial crisis that our economy is in right now. It is something that everyone needs in their life. I have a great marketing web designer to build, YES, marketing websites. I also have a back office to teach me everything I need to know about advertising, from free to low cost to expensive, like pay per click. I also have a community that has morning charge calls to keep me on the track of success.
By implementing these four steps into your internet marketing business you will also achieve the success you so desire and deserve.
